Send a Digital Impression

At Royal Crown Dental Lab, we are committed to up-to-date technology, including 3Shape Scanners and in-house milling. Therefore, we are able to accept digital files from the following intraoral scanners in order to fabricate your crowns, bridges, and implants: TRIOS, iTero, PlanScan, planmeca, SHINING 3D®, Carestream CS3500, 3M True Definition and PrimeScan.

Start sending digital impressions by following the provided instructions to connect your scanner directly to Royal Crown Dental Lab.

iTero

  • Call 800-577-8767
  • Select Option 1, then option 1
  • Request that Royal Crown Dental Lab is added to your scanner
  • Provide our Royal Crown Dental Lab Customer # 104030
  • On the scanner, go to settings and select “Sync Configuration”
  • Go to www.ddxdental.com/login, select “Dental Practice,” and enter your login information
  • Choose “New Case” and use the form to enter the procedure, shade, patient details and any additional notes
  • Upload the impression file(s) and submit your case!

 

Carestream CS3500

SHINING 3D

  • Navigate to the user icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen
  • Make sure you are on the Connections tab
  • Click on the + New icon.
  • Search for and select Royal Crown Dental Lab
  • Click on the check mark to submit the connection request
  • Royal Crown Dental Lab will approve the connection request and it will be in your list of targets

 

3M True Definition 

  • Call 3M™ support at 800-634-2249 select option 3, and then option 1.
  • Request support Royal Crown Dental Lab to be added to your scanner.
  • 3M™ will then confirm with Royal Crown Dental Lab and add connection remotely.

planmeca 

 

  • Go to www.ddxdental.com/login , select “Dental Practice”, and enter your login information.
  • Choose “New Case” and use the form to enter the procedure, shade, patient details, and any additional notes.
  • Upload the impression file(s) and submit your case!

3Shape TRIOS 

 

PrimeScan

  • Go to www.ConnectCaseCenter.com

  • Log in or sign up for an account

  • In the Connect Case Center, click “My Favorite Recipients”

  • Click “Search Recipients”, then the bubble “Search Direct”

  • Type “Royal Crown Dental Lab” in the box next to “Name of Recipient”

  • Click “Start Search”

  • Click the + sign next to Royal Crown Dental Lab and confirm
